Saltwell Towers
We thought we'd post about the large park in our town: Saltwell Park. It's about a 30-minute walk from our house. A beautiful park…..with a cafe in the ‘towers’ and an excellent coffee shop on the other side of the park (Prism Coffee). We had delicious coffee and tasty treats. Guess what? It's all vegan! We had no idea before we went. Lots of sweet treats plus a few savory goodies like haggis sausage rolls (vegan, of course). All good. We may become regulars. Totally worth the walk.

Found an odd-looking tree: Monkey Puzzle tree! There were a couple of these in the park.

If you're in the area, we highly recommend a stroll through the park and a stop at Prism Coffee. Also a nice lake with geese, ducks, and a few swans.
Yup, there's a hedge maze!
